Hosting the live stream of SF TEDWomen program in TLV, Dec 5th

Thousands of women in more than 150 TEDx events around the world will take part in watching TEDWomen live from SF on Dec 5th.

Together with my bosom buddies Abigail Tenembaum [TED speakers’ coach] and Liat Aaronson [TEDxTelAviv and TEDxHolyLand co-organizer], I’lll be hosting the live viewing of TEDWomen at a small TEDx event – TEDxTelAvivWomen, in a cinema in Tel Aviv.

In San Francisco for the first time, TEDWomen 2013 will channel the bootstrap spirit of Silicon Valley to celebrate invention in all its forms. Not just technology and things, but also solutions to poverty; approaches to peacemaking; expressions of art, and, at times, our own lives.

TEDWomen 2013 will continue TED’s multi-year conversation about women’s work and lives, present and future. This is where Sheryl Sandberg gave the talk that lead to her book and movement ‘lean-in’ and where Jane Fonda gave an unforgettable talk about life’s third act.

On top of the great program coming in from SF, at TEDxTelAvivWomen we’ll experiment with a new local format – inspired by the variety and divaness of the women who gather, and designed to connect us. We’ll feature short (3 minute) talks of 180º Shifts – 180 seconds stories that turned you 180 degrees, and made you reimagine, reconsider, rethink. Some profound talks, some funny, and all by women in the room.
